Job Position Overview

Type of position: Full-time OR 30hrs/week

Work experience:

• Completed training as a tax clerk or financial accountant.
• Or financial accountant with at least two years of professional experience

Work Location:

• Hybrid Hurst

The Job:

• Responsibility for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounting, payment transactions, and cash management, with a particular focus on contracts and taxes.
• Coordination and assurance of daily processes: reviewing, posting, and booking ongoing business transactions.
• Complex management, monitoring, and booking of payment and invoice processing across various marketplaces (E-Commerce).
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns (OSS & local), as well as reports and statistics.
• Clarification of accounting-related issues and tax matters.

The Individual:

• You have completed training as a tax clerk or financial accountant with at least two years of professional experience.
• You have extensive practical experience in commercial law, tax law, and accounting.
• Basic knowledge of accounting software (DATEV) would be desirable.
• You are proficient in MS Office programs, particularly MS Excel.
• You enjoy complexity, have strong analytical thinking skills, and possess outstanding cognitive abilities.
• You work in a structured and precise manner and are open to innovation.
• Above all, you demonstrate initiative and strong communication skills.
• Your German is fluent in both spoken and written form; good English skills would be beneficial for communication with our international employees.
• One office day per week in Hurst is required; otherwise, remote work is possible.
